- Price $4.36 is within one band-width ($0.2942) of the $4.30-$4.51 band (last touched 2026-07-21) — testing that zone.
- Price sits in the middle third of the 130-bar range ($0.3932-$8.60).
- The nearest resistance band sits 0.12× as far from the current price as the nearest support band (a ratio of distances).
Volume-by-price is a daily approximation: each session's full volume is assigned to the bin of that session's closing price (24 close-anchored bins over the last 252 sessions). Volume is from our pricing feed (IEX venue), not the consolidated tape.
How these levels are computed
- Swing structure: a day is a swing high when its high exceeds the highs of the 3 sessions on each side (symmetric for swing lows), detected over a ~130-session recent window and a ~500-session wider window. The most recent 3 sessions can never confirm a swing — no lookahead.
- Band clustering: swing extremes are grouped into price bands of width max(0.5 × 14-day average true range, 0.75% of the current price). Each band carries its touch count, last-tested date and source tags.
- Volume-by-price: a daily approximation — each session’s full volume is assigned to the bin of its closing price (24 bins over the last 252 sessions; IEX-venue volume). A high-volume shelf overlapping a band tags it; volume alone never creates a band.
- Reference anchors (52-week high/low, prior-month high/low, round numbers, SMA50/SMA200) add confluence tags only — they are never standalone levels.
- Every figure is computed from historical daily bars. The levels describe past price structure — where prices repeatedly turned — not future behavior.
