  • According to the Energy Information Administration (“EIA”), average daily liquid fuels demand increased by 3.1 million b/d in the third quarter compared to the previous quarter. • On the supply side, global liquid fuels production averaged around 101.3 million b/d in the third quarter, an increase of 4.8 million b/d compared to the previous quarter. The upward movement of supply came as oil exports from the Middle East increased, despite attacks on the critical bypass route o…
  • Brent crude oil prices rose from an average of $80/bbl in July to reach $84/bbl on average in August and increased further to average $97/bbl in September. • The second quarter of 2026 was marked by increased volatility as a result of conflict in the Persian Gulf and resultant effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz. How to read Risk Factors (Item 1A) in a 10-Q

A 10-Q risk-factor section usually takes one of three forms; this page classifies it as one of:

  • Pointer — the filer states there have been no material changes and points back to the annual 10-K risk factors; there is no own risk text to compare this quarter.
  • Partial update — the filer carves out specific updated risks ("except as set forth below"); the excerpts show exactly what is new this quarter.
  • Restated in full — the quarter carries the complete risk-factor text. When the prior quarter was only a pointer there is no prior full text to diff against, so the page flags the section as restated instead.

This describes the filing structure only — it is never a judgement on whether risk went up or down.
